Jake a full-time athlete runs in a school race with some awesome running as quoted by one of the characters. (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD). Jake falls over dramatically and breaks his ank and ends up ultimately losing the race as well as his will to live. In the medical room, Jake tells his PE teacher that he's really upset because he lost the race where he then sadistically tells him that he can't run for another 6 months and shows a shot of his feet to pay homage to Quentin Tarantino. Then, 6 months later Jake runs again and in Christopher Nolan-Inception way it ends with us never knowing if he won this time. Absolute Cinema.
